This suit is cut from a lightweight pure new wool tweed by Johnstons of Elgin. The cloth is called “Caledonia” and has a blue base weave with a touch of mauve, plus a fine shadow check in blue and white

The jacket is single breasted with 3” peaked lapels, a 2 button fastening, 4 button working cuff, single rear vent, pick stitched edges, 4 inner pockets and lilac cupro lining with Columbia stitched edges

The waistcoat has 4 welt pockets, notch lapels, a 4 button fastening, pocket watch buttonhole, and is backed and lined in silky lilac cupro. The buttons are navy dyed genuine horn with a matt finish and two holes

The trousers are flat fronted without pleats, have side adjusters, buttons for braces, buttoned fly, one rear pocket and are half lined
